CPR & AED Courses
CPR Response Plus is an authorized provider of Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR Programs.
Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

CPR & AED Level A
- (Private Groups Only)
- Traditional In-Class: 6 hours
- Blended Learning: 3 hours in-class + 3 hours online learning
- Requirements: To obtain certification 100% attendance is mandatory. Participants are expected to successfully demonstrate the required skills, and complete a written, closed book knowledge evaluation with a passing grade of 75% minimum.
- Certification: CPR/AED Level A
- Certificates are issued by the Canadian Red Cross and are valid for 3-years.

- Check, Call, Care
- Recovery position
- Choking – adult
- Assisting with medications
- Angina and heart attack
- Stroke
- CPR and AED– adult
- Deadly bleeding
CPR & AED Level C
- Traditional In-Class: 7 hours
- Blended Learning: 4 hours in-class + 3 hours online learning
- Requirements: To obtain certification 100% attendance is mandatory. Participants are expected to successfully demonstrate the required skills, and complete a written, closed book knowledge evaluation with a passing grade of 75% minimum.
- Certification: CPR/AED Level C
- Certificates are issued by the Canadian Red Cross and are valid for 3-years.

Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Traditional In-Class: 4 hours
- Requirements: To obtain certification 100% attendance is mandatory. Participants are expected to successfully demonstrate the required skills, and complete a written, closed book knowledge evaluation with a passing grade of 75% minimum.
- Certification: Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
- Certificates are issued by the Canadian Red Cross and are valid for 1-year.
